Rabbi Donald A Weber,
Temple Rodeph Torah,
Chaverai, I don’t often push a commercial product, but I HIGHLY recommend you look into the Temple Relational Managing System created by our colleague, Yaron Kapitulnik. He showcased it at the convention, and I decided to give it a try. It is, in a word, FANTASTIC. It allows us to get daily reminders of anniversaries, yahrzeits, illnesses, surgeries, upcoming trips… everything we’ve wanted to remember but never knew where to write it down. It’s not inexpensive, but my three-member clergy team has embraced it and we love it. There isn’t a manual yet (it’s in the works), and there’s a pretty big learning curve early on, but there are online videos for almost every question and the personal tech support – by email or phone – is superb. You get to try it for a month before paying, but be sure you’re willing to invest the time to set it up and customize it for your needs. For us it’s become a major part of our congregational relationships in just one month.
